What a busy day! While ice skating was going on, it was a chance to find Mariah a “little, black” dress for an audition she has this week. After finding the dress, I was promptly informed that shoes were also needed. Off we went in search of shoes. We were actually very efficient with the dress and shoes, but just before leaving the mall (and remembering to retrieve the girls from skating), I was informed that much was needed for volleyball. AHHHHHH! Nope, it was time to go home, volleyball items would have to be purchased after dinner (or at least I needed to make an appearance at home!). (I had found out that while I was gone an impromptu pool party was forming in my back yard). After Clay returned from the Humane Society, Kateri, Mariah, Gabi and I left for another mall for volleyball gear. Of course when we got there they were having an amazing sale and much time was spent on trying on clothing that we were not there for. Gabi was very patient! So, I tried on a few items and found that a pair of pants that I already own and love (and get a lot of wear out of) were on the clearance rack. Now, here’s the question, if you REALLY like an item and use it a lot, is it wrong to purchase another for when the first one is worn out? My girls thought it might be wrong. I didn’t care! I had the chance to get them for under $10! Yep, they came home with me and in 2 colors! :-) Mariah is now ready for volleyball camp, Kateri has a couple of much needed items and I will be in my pants a little longer. Good night~
