Happy Independence Day! I truly hope it was a great, relaxing, fun day for each of you. It was a stinky day here. Clay is gone and I had no car to fit the kids and too much work to do to think about taking them anywhere. We managed to do 8 loads of laundry and get Maddi packed up for Girl Scout camp. She leaves tomorrow morning. Our big outing for the day was to go to Longs for items that Maddi still needed. Whoo Hoo! Ok, I am being a bit of a downer. It wasn’t THAT bad! JJ filled the pool for the kids and Anna and Tristan went with Mr. Mike to a neighbor’s party. I did take the little ones up the hill to see fireworks and my wonderful neighbor, Mary, brought us sparklers. It’s just that the Lang clan was in a mood. During one of our loads of laundry I found Christmas lights in the dryer. Yup! Christmas lights. I don’t know! It just happens! It’s always a gamble around here. On a more positive note, Luke-Xavier did a lot of walking today. This is really the first day that he tried to walk on his own, without our coaxing. So cute! I will have to take pics and video! Gabi also received many treats for good potty training today. Go Gabi! After the bigger kids were stir crazy for awhile, they decided to color everyone’s hair with some hair coloring I picked up after Halloween. OOOOO, red, silver, gold and black dye on everything! Luckily it’s washable. Tomorrow the day starts early to get Maddi to the bus for camp and we are going to the Dr. for the 2nd time to get JJ his physical for Boy Scout camp. We didn’t have the paperwork with us last time and they wouldn’t see us. UGH! So, I will end with a wish for a less moody day tomorrow. Good night~
